VIC DU MONTE'S PERSONA NON GRATA is raw energy and a dirty, gritty no nonsense rock and roll outfit.

Chris Cockrell A.K.A Vic du Monte had began his musical journey way back at the end of the 80's when he, Brant Bjork, Josh Homme and John Garcia had formed SONS OF KYUSS which later became the iconic desert band KYUSS.
Moving on and forming his own group SOLARFEAST and then developing his style and sound even more with VIC DU MONTE'S IDIOT PRAYER.

James Childs who's tours with his UK rock group AIRBUS had brought him to the USA, was at the time playing with a Pychedelic band called BLACK ON SUNSHINE in Los Angeles and in 2003 was drawn to the sound Chris had been developing with IDIOT PRAYER and began working with him on their debut album "Prey for the City" recording and producing it.
