ENGLISH: Volcano Heat is a Italy based rock band formed during the end of summer 2007 by Luca Picchetti – guitarist and singer of Zond – and Silvano ‘Gene’ Zamarin, former member and bass player for late ‘90 power pop band Lola Rent. Just few weeks later Viane’s drumming joined the group and here they are: an high-voltage & real deal rock experience, influenced by Stooges, Warrior Soul, White Stripes, the New York punk scene and the dark side of Eighties. After “And The Light Goes Out” EP (2008), Volcano Heat has released in september 2009 “Surrender / Live at Blocco A”, five new songs recorded live by Giulio Favero (bass player & producer for Il Teatro degli Orrori) and Giovanni Ferliga (Aucan) at well-known Blocco A Studio in Padua, Italy. After a brief european summer tour and the release of "You Are Right" (a live recording available for free on jamendo.com) , in 2011 Volcano Heat start recording their first full lenght album "Vive le Rock!" distributed now by glorious stoner label Go Down Records and produced by Alex Marton.

ITALIANO: I Volcano Heat sono nati alla fine dell’estate 2007 grazie all’incontro tra Luca – chitarrista e cantante degli ottimi Zond – e Gene, membro fondatore e bassista della electro-pop band Lola Rent; raggiunti qualche settimana dopo dalla batteria di Viane, il trio dà vita ad un rock diretto, elettrizzante ed essenziale, influenzato da Stooges, Warrior Soul, White Stripes, dalla scena punk newyorchese e dalle vibrazioni dark rock dei primi anni ’80. A seguire l’EP “And The Light Goes Out” (2008) è uscito nell’ottobre del 2009 “Surrender / Live at Blocco A”, nuovo lavoro composto da 5 canzoni registrate live al Blocco A da Giulio Favero (bassista e produttore de Il Teatro degli Orrori) e Giovanni Ferliga (Aucan). Dopo un breve tour estivo europeo e l'uscita di "You Are Right" (registrazione dal vivo disponibile gratuitamente su jamendo.com), i Volcano Heat iniziano nel 2011 a comporre e registrare il loro primo album "Vive le Rock!", prodotto da Alex Marton e distribuito oggi dalla gloriosa etichetta stoner Go Down Records.
