La Go Down Records & l'associazione Circolo Fantasma, festeggiano la passione per il r'n'r con l'idea di una Compilation che racchiuda il sound selvaggio e primordiale dei 60/70: una raccolta di brani rivisti ed interpretati sia da band underground che da veri pilastri della scena nazionale ed internazionale, tutti dal valore artistico indiscusso. "Wild Sound From The Past Dimension" è composta dai brani che inondano da oramai 4 anni le serate e i concerti organizzati dal Circolo: non una semplice raccolta "senz'anima" ma brani "coverizzati" ad DOC dalle band coinvolte nel progetto.
Grandi classici ed oscure gemme Sixties&Seventies reinterpretate da 22 bands nazionali ( Not Moving, The Rippers, Ray Daitona, The Intellectuals, Small Jackets, ENRi, The Cavemen, LosFuocos, The Valentines) ed internazionali tra cui White Flag (USA), Les Playboys (FR) e Gorilla(UK). Una cascata di suoni elettrici per la mente e per il corpo: un viaggio musicale tra r'n'r, garage, freakbeat, hard rock, punk, da Elvis Presley (Kissin'Cousin) ai Pink Floyd (Lucifer Sam) psichedelici del recentemente scomparso Syd Barret, passando attraverso la Swingin' London dei The Beatles(Love you to), David Bowie(Suffragette City), The Kinks (I Need You), The Small Faces (Tin Soldier), Brian Auger (Black Cat).
Da sottolineare anche la presenza di brani di MC5, The Monks, The13th Floor Elevators, The Sorrows, The Continentals, The Merry Dragons, gruppi sconoscuti ai pi ma protagonisti nel creare il suono più selvaggio degli anni 60, quel garage punk che travolse l'America e i suoi conformismi. Non potevano poi mancare brani composti da icone come Jimi Hendrix (Stone Free) e l'iguana Iggy Pop (Search&Destroy), che aprirono la strada all'Hard Rock dei Motorhead e al famigerato punk, esploso con gruppi come The Cramps e The Real Kids. Il progetto, affettivo e non commerciale, è andato in porto grazie alla passione dei fantasmi, alle band coinvolte ed agli amici del Circolo, tra cui le "magiche" mani di Matteo Guarnaccia, autore di 2 pregevolissime stampe allegate al cd e del logo della Compilation, e Laura Timpano, autore della parte grafica del progetto.
La compilation è stata stampata in edizione limitata cartonata, mentre l'uscita ufficiale è prevista nei negozi a fine settembre: in concomitanza all'evento verrà organizzato un party di presentazione all'interno della manifestazione "Rainbow Days", una due giorni di Musica e Controcultura organizzata dal C.lo dove presenzieranno gran parte delli gruppi coinvolti.

The Go Down Records & the Phantom Circle Association (Ass. Cult. Circolo Fantasma) celebrate their passion for the r'n'r with the idea of a Compilation that contains the wild and primordial sound of the 60/70: a collection of reviewed and interpreted pieces either by underground band or by true pillars of the national and international stage, all of them with unquestioned artistic value. "Wild Sound From The Past Dimension" is composed of the pieces that have enjoyed for 4 years the evenings and the concerts organized by the Circle: not a "soulles" collection but "ad hoc" covers played by the band involved in the project. 60ies and 70ies classics and dark gems replayed by 22 national (Not Moving, The Rippers, Ray Daytona, The Intellectuals, ENRi, The Caveman, The Small Jackets, The Valentines)... and international groups (The Playboys, France; White Flag, Usa; Gorilla, Uk).
An electric sound cascade for the mind and the body: a travel through r'n'r, garage, freakbeat, hard rock, punk, from Elvis Presley (Kissin'Cousin) to the psychedelic Pink Floyd (Lucifer Sam) of the recently departed Syd Barret, passing through the Beatles' Swingin' London (Love You Too), David Bowie (Suffragette City), The Kinks (I Need You), The Small Faces (Tin Soldier), Brian Auger (Black Cat). It's important to underline the presence of MC5, The Monks, The13th Floor Elevators, The Sorrows, The Continentals, The Merry Dragons, which are probably unknown for the most but important in the 60's as they created the wildest sound (garage punk) that swept away the conformism. Naturally here you find excerpts composed by icons like Jimi Hendrix (Stone Free) and Iggy Pop (Search&Destroy), that brought to the Motorhead hard rock and to the notorious punk of The Cramps e The Real Kids.
The project, emotional and not commercial, went in port thanks to the passion of the phantoms, to the band involved and to the friends of the Circle, among them the "magical" hands of Matteo Guarnaccia, author of 2 valuable printings enclosed to the cd and of the logo of the Compilation, and Laura Timpano, author of the graphic part of the project. The compilation was printed in limited bound edition, while official exit will be in stores at the end of September: in concomitance to the event will be organized a party inside of the show "Rainbow Days", a two days of Music and Counterculture organized from the Circolo Fantasma, where the groups involved will play.
