Alice Albertazzi and Gianfranco Romanelli started their collaboration playing together in the Italian psych band ALiX. This project composed five albums, including Ground recorded in 2004 by David Lenci and Good One recorded in 2009 by Steve Albini. The duo ALICE TAMBOURINE LOVER was born in 2011 and in just three years it released three albums via Go Down Records: Naked Songs (2012), Star Rovers (2013) and Like A Rose (2015). The latest one contains two unreleased tracks by Dandy Brown (Hermano, Orquesta Del Desierto) and John Garcia (Kyuss, Unida, Hermano) and the cover is signed by Californian photographer Ed Ross. In 2015 the film directors Iris Elezi and Thomas Logoreci chose two songs for the soundtrack of their movie "Bota Cafè". The songs are "Hungry Thieves" by Alice Tambourine Lover and "The Sweet-Smelling Road" by ALiX. The fourth album Down Below was released in March 2019 via Go Down Records on vinyl and digital.
