Biography

ANIMAUX FORMIDABLES is an electrifying garage-fuzz-noise duo that burst onto the scene in early 2022, unleashing raw and primal instincts. On stage, they morph into wild, animal-like creatures, fueled by Punk and Rock’n’Roll since birth.

In 2022, they teamed up with Marco Fasolo (Jennifer Gentle, I Hate My Village) to record their debut album, We Are All Animals, using direct-to-tape analog techniques. Released in 2023 by Go Down Records, it quickly became a standout in the Italian independent music scene.

With over two hundred gigs under their belt, Animaux Formidables continue to perform across Italy and Europe with a revamped show that's been enriched with electronic textures. These fresh sounds first emerged in their 2025 EP, Call Me Tony, produced by Fasolo with the band’s trademark approach: analog recording, live takes, no overdubs or post-production fixes. Get ready for their new album, set to drop in 2026!
