Biography

CYBORG ZERO formed in 2018 when its namesake guitarist joined forces with drummer Mr. G, igniting a raw, uncompromising project that fuses rock, blues, and punk into a radical sound.

The duo emerges from the frontman’s decade-long experience with his former band, The Cyborgs, founded in 2010. With four albums and extensive international touring, The Cyborgs shared stages with artists who shaped rock history, including Bruce Springsteen, Iggy Pop, Deep Purple, Jeff Beck, John Mayall, and many others. This remarkable background has forged a direct, primal, and instantly recognizable musical language.

With this eponymous new act, the approach becomes even more minimalist: guitar, vocals, and drums are stripped to their core, free of unnecessary layers. The visual and symbolic dimensions are equally crucial—Cyborg Zero performs wearing a welder’s mask, while Mr. G appears as a refurbished, old-generation cyborg. This tension between reality and representation lies at the heart of their aesthetic, intensifying the experience without ever overshadowing the music.

In 2019, they made their debut with the self-released album 0, recorded and mixed by Tommaso Mantelli at Lesder Studio. This was followed by an European tour that included appearances at international festivals such as Freak Valley and Humulus Lupulus in Germany, as well as a support slot for The Boomtown Rats in Italy.

In 2026, they signed with Go Down Records to release a remastered vinyl edition of their debut album, featuring two previously unreleased tracks. Zero will be out on LP and across digital streaming platforms in May 2026.
