Humulus band

HUMULUS is a psych-stoner power trio from Brescia and Bergamo, Italy.

They formed in 2009 and their debut s/t album was released by Go Down Records in December 2012. These ten tracks fully reflect the stoner attitude and the aggressive sound of the band. This is best expressed during the live shows.

The three musicians shares also the deep passion for beer. In 2014 another beloved project saw the light: Humulus produced the eponymous black stoner IPA, brewed in collaboration with ELAV Independent Brewery.

In 2015, after a line-up change, Humulus was ready to write new songs. A 3-track EP called Electric Walrus EP saw the light in October. This EP shows the new attitude of the band, which is more psychedelic and more dynamic than before. The EP release was immediately followed by a series of new live shows, including the gig at the Keep It Low Festival in Munich, that confirmed the tightness and power of the renewed lineup. 2016 is full of gigs and new songs were written and performed on big and small stages.

In spring 2017 the album Reverently Heading Into Nowhere was released via the German Oak Island Records for the vinyl version and via the Italian Taxi Driver Records for the CD. This records is more psychedelic and heavier than ever.

In February 2020 the fourth album The Deep was released via Kozmik Artifactz.
