DELREI's debut album, Desolation and Radiation, is an epic Spaghetti Western symphony set in a post-apocalyptic West. The brainchild of Alessandro Mercanzin, this solo project emerged from a deep connection to desolate desert landscapes and spectral atmospheres. The result is a haunting fusion of Noir Western and Desert Blues, released digitally by the U.S. label Projekt Records in 2023.
A year later, the enigmatic guitarist and multi-instrumentalist brought his cinematic sound live on stage, unveiling a powerful three-piece lineup. Featuring Giovanni Beghetto on groovy percussion and Davide Dalla Pria on thunderous bass, Delrei’s music took on a new, electrifying dimension, transforming into an authentic future western—a brooding sonic journey veiled in dust and melancholy.
In July 2025, Desolation and Radiation will be co-released on vinyl for the first time via Go Down Records and Projekt—an essential pressing of this iconic, neo-romantic, instrumental record.
