The desert is in Romagna, Italy. Here is the homeland of HERBA MATE, a desert-stoner trio who reissued on vinyl format the debut album The Jellyfish Is Dead And The Hurricane Is Coming with Blinde Proteus label and the distribution by Go Down Records. Flinty sounds and psychedelic dynamics refer straight to the sound of holy masters like Kyuss and Fatso Jetson: our guys have not only learnt their lesson by heart, they have dressed it, creating deep-impact songs, destructured tunes and free-form arrangements with a strong tendency to psychedelic rock. The record has been recorded live, in just 3 days and 2 nights at the Sputnik Studio, located in an isolated cottage on the top of the hills of Predappio - Italy, which are surrounded by striking badlands. The record title comes from a surreal talk with friends in the area of Monte Conero on a sand and stones beach of course!
