Lu Silver’s Luneliness mockup

Luneliness is LU SILVER’s personal take on the word “loneliness”—a title conceived by artist and singer-songwriter Conny Ochs, his close friend and the designer of the cover artwork.

The songs were written in the winter of 2020, when pandemic lockdown forced Lu Silver to a single room—the same one he'd already lived in for two years, yet suddenly everything felt different. Without warning, he found himself alone for days at a time. It was too much, even for someone who has always cherished solitude and the need for his own space.

That winter became a passage between present and past, between light and shadow. Instinctively, he began to release what was most intimate—unafraid to dig deep into emotions he’d carried since childhood. The result is a record steeped in melancholy, but ultimately transformative: a catharsis that opened the door to renewed energy and joy. Maybe you’ll recognize a piece of yourself in it, too. Each track is a small fragment of a life’s soundtrack.

"I think loneliness can be considered one of the worst evils of our time.

Love and friendship can be excellent medicines to overcome fears and isolation".

Lu Silver

The CD is available from May 6th, 2022.
