The Devils
Biography
THE DEVILS formed in Naples, in 2015. Their first two albums Sin, You Sinners! (2016) and Iron Butt (2017) were produced by Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, The Sonics, The Dirtbombs) and released by Voodoo Rhythm Records. Since 2016 they have been constantly touring, performing more than 500 shows throughout Europe, UK and Canada.
Their third album Beast Must Regret Nothing (2021) was produced by Alain Johannes (QOTSA, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey) and includes a featuring with Mark Lanegan.
Gianni Blacula rapes the guitar, Erika Switchblade beats the drums. The Devils embody the ultimate sound of chaos; their style is primitive, loaded with sex, sin and Rock'n'Roll. They are wild, thundering and sexy. The duo's name is a tribute to Ken Russell's cult movie "The Devils" from 1971.
They have toured with The Sonics, Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers, Boss Hog, Mudhoney, GBH, The Monsters and many more. They have played many European festivals, including Azkena Rock Festival, Helldorado, Clanx Festival, Beaches Brew, Sleazefest, Cosmic Trip, Gambeat and so on.
